“Cheapest” is a trap question with snack boxes. The lowest sticker price isn’t the best value if the box is half the size — so let’s do this properly: price per box, price per item, and what you actually get.

Two things jump out:
- The cheapest box (Japan Candy Box) has the worst per-item value. You’re paying for the lower entry price, not efficiency.
- TokyoTreat and Sakuraco are nearly identical value — Sakuraco edges ahead per item, but TokyoTreat’s items are full-size, so by weight TokyoTreat usually wins.
How to Actually Pay Less
